CMF Predictions for 2015

This year, CMF published the eighth consecutive edition of their annual predictions for the economy, socio-political issues, and industry trends! See all past predictions and results here.

CMF’s 2015 outlook┬áincludes U.S. median household incomes increasing, a significant jump in housing starts, and continued increases in industrial production. Other key predictions include:

  • U.S. unemployment decreasing to 5.7%
  • Oil prices averaging $82 per barrel
  • U.S. GDP increasing 3.7%
  • PE M&A deal volume flat with 2014
